The fuck are you talking about? The Bible IS real. It's very existance makes it a real and tangible thing.
It's a collection of stories about one family that was believed to be touched by God. The geneaology, in and of itself, having secular proofs supports the existance of many of the primary characters, at the very least.
It's a real thing, it's the stories that it contains that need further documentation through the romantic sciences: Archaeology, Sociology etc.
@MarvelsofaLifetime No one way back then seemed to have an interest in Biology, Physics, Cosmology, or Geology. If you were alive way back then, why would you expect God in the flesh to just tell you everything given to you when you don't even ask? Besides it doesn't matter so much to what things are, it matters more of what you do with what you have.
@MarvelsofaLifetime -It is not my job to prove anything to you...the Holy Ghost will "reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: Of sin, because they believe NOT on me..." (John 16:8-9 KJV) The pure, preserved Word of God in the KJV Bible is "given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness." (2 Timothy 3:16) Men did not write Scripture, God wrote Scripture THROUGH men! NO other book is like it!!
@Christ4Life316 - How do you know that the book is correct? Just because when I read the book, the Lord of the Rings, and it says that Orks exist, it doesn’t mean that Orks actually do exist. You need to provide evidence that the Bible is real.
@MarvelsofaLifetime -I will provide you with the evidence that Jesus is God made flesh from the KJV Bible: read John 16:27; John 17:5 and 8; John 3:3-21; Jesus had the power to lay down his own life and to raise it up again as he states in John 10:17-18; John 6:38, 61 and 62; John 8:23; John 20:26-28; one of Jesus' titles (among many) is the Word, described in John 1:1-3, 14. Acts 20:28; Ephesians 3:9; Philippians 2:6-11; Colossians 1:15-17; Colossians 2:9; Titus 1:4; Hebrews 13:8. God bless!
Well apparently Jesus for such a smart guy didn’t know much about Biology, Physics, and Cosmology – lol and especially Geology to think that the Earth was flat.
@MrSpark671 - Ok so do you have any evidence that Jesus was a living God in the body of a man? Because if you don’t then you’re pretty much believing in only fairy tails. I find it quite difficult to believe that Jesus was divine but yet at the same time write a book as lame as the Bible. In your case you believe that he was literally a living god, and so would have to be infinitely intelligent and knowledgeable.
@MarvelsofaLifetime why oh why do they divide a world timeline by the birth of Christ? was this man of some importance? Yep, He was God in flesh!!! and He saved me on Calvary's cross!! and nobody can or will ever take that away! not even a government or people of any belief
@peacechild61 - And that's a good thing -- be glad your president doesn't believe in nonesense and more essentially be glad that your president doesn't invoke any kind of faith or religious dogma in public policy. We have all witnessed what it's like having a dumb ass president who believes in religion.
