This is a short video clip produced by our group GGWP as an entry to the EDB SJII Economics Short Film Competition. Our chosen topic is 3.Raising the level of excellence and competitiveness in the service industry (the taxi industry in Singapore is chosen here). Please support us :) Here's the lyrics:

Today we're about to compare three cab brands
Comfort, Trans and SMRT,
In Singapore, we can clearly see, taxis everywhere in the city,
It's clear each company is competitive.
They wanna have an advantage against their rivals,
So they can get more clients and maintain survival,
and nobody's gon' tell them they can't.

Now, the taxi industry is very busy,
but we decided to focus on three companies,
Cause time isn't enough in this friggin' song

Ohh, let's just start with...let's start with...
Let's start with Comfort Cabbbbb!
In terms of tech Comfort has everything...
Meters, receipts and iPhone apps,
They even have their own TVs in a 1,000 over taxis,
and hybrid cars that run on electricity.
For green lovers! Ooo-ooo! Ooo-ooo! Ooooooo.
For green lovers! Ooo-ooo! Ooo-ooo! Oooooooo
Comfort's good, but TransCab is modern.
GPRS system, we're efficient as Dell.
Plus 24-hour booking service (Oh my god, this is great)
Look at our numbers, 5k in '09, More comfort than Comfort, send clients to slumber
Our quality is best.
Oh yes, we are good, we are good
We are good 'cause we are
Hold on, SMRT is in the game
We live up fully to the fame
Toyota Mercedes Chrysler, Super Modern Ready Taxis Clients know we're the best, 'cause they aren't patsies
And our drivers are so polite
Greet customers when they board
Provide safe journeys, things'll be alright
Fancy cars with the first-class service
Competitors, are you nervous ?
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah
Oh, three brands, engaged in non-price competition
It's hard to make a fair comparison
All policies have pros and cons, a fine mixture of news and olds But they are all effective, gaining passengers

They are all good oo oo hoo oo oo hoo they are all good oo oo hoo oo oo hoo they are all good
