first off, you are commiting an error in not allowing what you preach to be discussed and be analyzed.

second, you are saying that evolution is assumed to prove evolution. That is the logical error

The hypothesis of this is to explain evolution in human genes. Charles Darwin painstakingly observed many different species and

noticed that hey, they all look strangely similar in their bone structure. Then we can look back and see the dinosaurs, and notice

that some of the creatures of that epoch look similar to modern day creatures of the planet. The human genome project just begun in

1990, Darwin knew nothing about genes. What the scientist in question is doing, is proving that there was a mutation in the species

we call great apes. There was a change in the inherited traits that occured with the great apes, and this is how we have come to be

your third error is a contradiction that implies that chromosone #2 was fused, but that it was never apart. These two cannot coexist

in the same sentence without contradiction becuase fusion implies two seperate enties becoming one. It can easily proved that it was

apart, by looking at our ancestors genes, the great apes. They haveing 48 chromosones, we having 46. Rather self explanatory.

your fourth error is that you call evolution a theory, and give the implication that a theory is equated as wrong. A theory if you didn't

know is it is an established scientific model that explains observations and makes predictions through mechanisms such as natural selection.

I would argue with the evidence accumulated about evolution, we can make astoudndingly accurate predictions, thus these predictions would be then

held as fact. Evolution indeed exists as a theory, but the observations using what it entails can be held as predictable and verifiable results.

Fact can also occur by a common held belief in a theory for a long period of time, which i would say 151 years is enough time of a common held belief.

  • @cambell1308 here ya go ---->  /watch?v=UBASt9Kx0fs

  • @rastarigate Yeah no probs, I tried to check out your link but got "The Best of Dogs Saying Grace Before Meal Cute Videos" ....?

  • @cambell1308 My apologies, then. And I never called you a fundamentalist. I said the people who usually reject the notion are, which is true. The rest of the information stands however. And I invite you to take a look at the resources given previously which explains that particular event very, very well.

    Cheers, mate

  • @rastarigate Yeah Ok so I do not follow any formalised religion nor do I indulge in any dogma. I asked a question not related to religion in any stance and you insinuate that I'm a religious fundamentalists or fanatic??? My question was completely "scientific" .What The????

  • @rastarigate "are generally"

  • @cambell1308 not necessarily, several things can happen in a fusion event such as this. Listen to a similar scenario explained by these students, who study biology, spend hours in the lab, and observe firsthand the results. That's why evolution is as well accepted theory as any other theory in science today. The only people who generally reject it and religious fundamentalists and fanatics.

    watch?v=UBASt9Kx0fs&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

  • The most highly revered Creationist ( or their champion, Michael Behe, from Discovery institue ), was present in the federal court and could refute absolutely nothing about DNA and fused chromosome #2, nor evolution. He was deaf dumb and blind about the entire process. Do you think you would have done better at the Dover vs Kitzmiller Trial?

  • These students will some day be biologists, doctors, and the people that you will need to go to when one of your loved ones needs are heart transplant or you are having a baby. You will not go to a preacher and have him operate on you, because religious fanatics know ( usually ) absolutely nothing about any of the sciences. The fusion event ( 1/29 Robertsonian Transolcation ) - is explained by people around your age who are actually doing the work watch?v=UBASt9Kx0fs&feature=mfu_in_order&list=UL

  • This fusion event was articulated in brilliant detail in a federal court of law. You can find the transcript anywhere. The theory of evolution is accepted as fact just as germ theory and atomic theory are factual, yet will always remain germ theory and atomic theory. They do not graduate to "fact"

In addition to this, fusion events like this are observed in the lab quite frequently and are documented abundantly. I advise you watch this video by students who actually do work in a laboratory more

  • Interesting that when the 2 chromosomes were fused they ended up with more DNA not less as would be suspected (as some genetic material would overlap). Peace
