Csikos Post revenge！(Drum video)

『クシコス・ポスト』（Csikos Post）は、ドイツの作曲家ヘルマン・ネッケ（Hermann Necke）が作曲した曲。日本語では『クシコスの郵便馬車』とも言う。
原題の"Csikos Post"はハンガリー語であり、そのうち"csikós"（チコーシュ）は「馬」を、"post"（ポシュット）は「郵便」をそれぞれ意味し、"Csikos Post"全体では「郵便馬車」という意味であるとされる。このため、邦題のひとつである『クシコスの郵便馬車』は、"Csikos"を地名と誤解したために誤って付けら­れたとする説もある。一方、"csikós"はカウボーイに似た馬使いのことであり、"Csikos Post"は馬を使った曲芸のことであるとする説もある。
日本では、運動会で御馴染みの定番曲である。運動会では吹奏楽または管弦楽で演奏されるものがよく聴かれるが、原曲はピアノ曲らしい。一方、日本以外ではほとんど知られて­いない曲であったが、近年では、ヨッシーのクッキーやダウンタウン熱血行進曲等の日本製ゲームソフトでよく使用されているために徐々に知られるようになっている。

Csikós Post is a galop by the German composer Hermann Necke (1850-1912). "Csikós Post" is Hungarian for "mail coach". The piece has been used repeatedly in Nintendo games including Yoshi's Cookie for Super Nintendo (as Action Music B), Dance Dance Revolution: Mario Mix (as Fishing Frenzy), and Daigasso! Band-Brothers (as Athletic Medley). It is also present in the music games O2Jam and pop'n music FEVER.
