Card Sharks bonus round from 2001 (ugh!). See how this bonus round is played. IMO this version is very dismal, but I've put it here for those who want to see this version. Watch it with caution.
I think one of the biggest mistakes this version made was doing away with the "push = no win, no loss" rule. Imagine having $25,000 in the bank and your last card is an ace and then you bet everything that the next card would be lower than the ace, only for another ace to show up and you lose everything. I mean either keep the "push = no win, no loss" rule or have a new rule which states a push causes you to lose half your wager so instead of losing $25,000, you lose $12,500.
@Chenoholic88 Consider yourself lucky. This was the biggest mistake in Goodson-Todman, let alone in game show history. Next to NBC canceling "Super Password" in 1989.
My god, what an awful and boring bonus round! Without the Big Bet and cards to change, this is not Card Sharks IMO. The main game wasn't as bad, but 3 games for one bonus round COMPLETELY ruins it! *gags*
Just watched it again now and you're right, it was awful! Pat "It is!" Bullard can't act, he keeps saying "It is!" after every correct f**king answer! What the hell, man!
@blaqice88
and perhaps the biggest mistake and the worst in the history of television.

This was my favorite version, too bad it only lasted 3 months.

I wouldn't mind if this appeared on GSN. It would look the best if they used the credit crunching format throughout all episodes as they air.
