If you find that you're slowing down or tightening up, therapy may be the answer.

  • i am definitely interested in this career. except, im unsure of doing a 3 year program in college or do health science and then go to PT in university... although, even if i do the 3 year program, i'd like to go back to university to get a bachelor's degree in PT which will take me 2 years instead of 4 because i would have already done the essentials in college.

what should i do? i also want to use dogs and cats for children therapy... how does that work??

  • wooh@!!

  • I'm in a PTA program and love it. I'd have liked to go all in and go for the doctorate in PT but I didn't have $100k available. Regardless, I think anyone looking into working in PT will enjoy it. It's a lot to learn, but I'm thinking it will be a very rewarding career. You're basically a personal trainer for injured or disabled people. Quite a challenge!

  • a combination of massage, stretching, exercise, and other manual therapies all work.

  • lol
