I really want to move to japan, but they have some large and creepy looking insects and it really scares me and puts me off. Being british, the largest spider i have ever seen is the tegenaria,( you probably dont know what that is by name, but google it, its basically a big house spider). They are pretty small compared to spiders in japan the size of your palm running across your wall, i think i would have a heart attack if i saw one! D: grrr!

@PhasmatisApparatus This is largest hornet species in the world. It is considered one of the most dangerous animals in Japan and kills roughly 75 people a year. Very big aggressive and dangerous. Can kill you even if your not allergic because their size an large amount of venom.Softypapa channel has some good videos about this insect an Japan as well check them out too if you wanna know an see more :)

It's very good looking wasp.

Seems as big as we have here in germany (the longest i caught was 7cm(2,5 in))
I play ping pong with these wasps and hornets when they fly into my room.
Let's play hornet ping-pong!

No worries, I'd NEVER even try to get close to one. I have a phobia ._.
When I was 7 years old I was stung by 6 bees...at the same time D:
So yeah, every time I see one now I just run away crying XDX;

Looks like a hornet/wasp, which we have here in the USA. I've seen the giant Japanese hornets much bigger than that one even and yes they are agressive little buggers.

cute little nasty thing

More like over-sized wasp than a bee. I hate your average tiny UK wasp so i would be terrified of this fella. Thumb me up for having the guts to watch this thing! I'm an insect coward - sorry, except for ladybirds and catterpillars. I like them fine.

So it's like the hornets in the U.S.A. for example, but much much larger?
