I don't think it's fair to slam Jackson - he's a bassist, not an emcee. When Billy Taylor asked you to emcee the "bass player" part of the show, you do it whether you're comfortable in the role (or not).

Me too. Ppl always say why not the harmonica. I always tell them "There's not enough work for harmonica but everybody needs a bass.

yeah, i noticed too that she's using two fingers together for a single articulation. still, despite a few minor fluffs, i think she did very well, considering that she was the focal point. i don't think i would be so composed... kudos to her.
