I saw this guitar at 2009 NAMM show and HAD to have it - I LOVE the color and every JP6 lover needs more than ONE! So I ordered it and it came in a couple weeks ago and I put together this little short lame demo 'cause I never have time to do a GOOD one lately it seems, but I promise I will! I have only seen one other on YouTube, so I am wondering how many were sold. I believe there were less than 20 JP6's made from the first go around of the Dargie Delights in 2006 I believe? So I don't know how many were made this year but it couldn't have been many. Anyway, I was due for a new one since my other JP6 is from 2002 or 2003! It sure feels good and has the compensated nut which really does make a difference...

  • damage control =]

  • @MrDudeface23 :-) tasty riffage

  • damn amplitube. it made both pickups sound nearly the same, and they DON'T

  • @lowyaw Yeah - It's not really an Amplitube issue though as much as the strings acoustically drowning out the signal coming from the monitors which makes the sonic difference between the pickups less apparent.

  • how the fuck can you afford another one of these let alone one jesus fuck

  • @GabGabAuJous It's called selling everything you own... :)

  • @jonrivera I have to say having played one of the Sterling JP50's that I was BLOWN away how great they played! Really as far as I could tell the hardware and of course pickups were the only things that I could really feel / hear a difference. I think they are amazing guitars for the money and considering getting one just so i can throw super heavy gauge strings on it and tune down to B or C... :) Like you though... I am B-R-O-K-E... :( Don't be jealous! Save up! Last guitar you'll ever buy! :)

Well said. I really enjoy playing the Sterling JP50SBK at my local music store. It plays so nicely and I want to get it. Unfortuately, it's overpriced and I prefer getting it online. But at the same time, I'd much rather get the USA model. But alas, I'm poor! :( And jealous.

  • @SaintsCheat Well, you'll find the guitar thats right for you - if you're not inspired EVERY time you pick it up, then keep looking I always say! Good luck!

  • Great point you make. I finally have some cash saved up for a decent guitar and am torn between a Guerilla Guitar and a usa Jackson SL2HT. Not much of a floating trem guy but both of these come with stoptails. The JP guitar I could have used because it is not a locking trem per-se but ya that design..haha..Made for JP I guess but glad it works for you
