@latinohomiejo071593 yeah im a lot better than when he did this vid, and cleaner. i play guitar for hours on end and i've been playing for about 10 months. maybe a little less. latinohomie, when you shred and do stuff like this, try and stay in the same key and go back to the starting note by going down a scale or throwing in some sweeps to do it. i've been a musician much longer than a guitarist (6 or 7 years) so dont give me shit. im just giving u input

i dont really shred anymore, i do 8 finger tapping a lot, now, but actually, now that i think about it, i hardly play guitar at all anymore.

@latinohomiejo071593 k cool, but why 8 finger tapping? it's sexy and sounds amazing, but it's one of those things that you really throw in to show off? idk i've never tried it it's probably a lot better than how i put it

@Gangstareel02 i actually examined my playing, and i gotta correct myself, its six finger tapping, i use my left index, middle, and pinky, and my right index, middle, and ring, and i use open D tuning (dadf#ad) and it sounds pretty good, i just said 8 finger tapping to differentiate between shitty single string 2-3 finger tapping, i might post a video when i get a camera to show my progress

@Messi10GreenDay I actually dont like messing with floyd's. My kelly is a standard string through with set bridge. ive always liked my bridges higher so i can rest my hand on them. if i ever get a floyd, im playing dragonforce hands down lol.

take away some treble and gain, boost the lows and mids a bit. that'll make ur tone less shitty sounding. and if ur using a pedal, maybe use the MIXER input when doing videos.
