  • waste of a nice car. do they crush these after? Its fucking brand new, everything

  • the sell them as salvage to companies who basically bring them bck

  • Holy shit! The amount of intrusion in the drivers door is shocking! Doesn't it have side impact beams!

  • it seems in a way the side panel stopped the airbag from deploying properly

  • Yes. Your right. The door also slams into the side and legs of the driver and this propels then into the centre console. The curtain airbags are inhibited by the trim on the B post coming away.

  • Well it got a good rating which is 4 stars should of gotten 3 but hey i am not an expert

  • I got in this same wreck in this SAME car model year and every thing, we were going thirty five and the DODGE RAM that hit us was going 45. My husband and 6 month old were on the driver side and I was pregnant on the passenger side. ALL THREE of us were fine minus a few small cuts from the glass. THIS IS A GREAT CAR AND VERY SAFE!!!!

  • im glad i didnt make a bad choice of bying an 06 m35

  • just be Glad this M35 didn't meet the Fate of some that Nissan pluck right off the Line to Tear apart at their Training Centers...

  • good test i suppose

  • Here you go:

    iihs (DOT) org/ratings/rating (DOT) aspx?id=560

    safe overall

  • Actually it didn't. It got an "acceptable" rating not a "good" rating.

  • Actually just bought 08 M35. Good to see I didn't make a mistake. Safety glass is meant to crumble and is relatively harmless, not pointy. Major thing is keeping the cage intact and not transmitting the force to the people inside. :0 Jack

  • Really. For the 2005 model because MSNBC don't agree. They post the Audi A6 as a better choice. Plus the M35 gets 'Acceptable' for the driver leg.

But hey... before we all get off on a rant-a-thon. Lets take a few moments to watch the Chinese crash tests and sigh a breath of relief for Ralph Nadar.
