Hello Bro, Is this M65 Field Jacket waterproof or you just use it for cold weather? How do you manage with it in wet conditions? Do you use your poncho on top? Have a safe trip. Maybe we can meet while you are here in US. Thanks

Nicely put.

is it just the angle or is his patch instrutor missing the "c" instructor?
happysidd 2 months ago
@happysidd Good catch, it's not the angle its the language. My patches are in Portuguese. INSTRUTOR = Instructor, and SOBREVIVENCIA = Survival. All of our students at Bushmaster are Brazilian so everything we do outside of Youtube is in Portuguese.

Wouldn't a hammock and tarp be less work and easier to carry and setup?

@MrSchpankme Yes, absolutely. I make that point in the last video. We normally camp that way when we're planning to spend the night. This was a day hike that simulated an unplanned overnight stay in the jungle. In that area of Brazil we have three very different types of terrain, only one of which is jungle. The survival kit I'm using in this series is intended to cover my bases in all three.

“Never plan to improvise” should be the slogan of your guys’ school!

@adaman04 It is! I hammer that idea home in lots of different places.
