didnt they have a sobng where the whole song was backwards?
-
I wonder if they've ever played this live.

@Ashloomis Exactly. Even though I'm too scared to hear the original but peaking at some of the lyrics from it I have to agree with you. Besides Danny is Jewish XD

Lol it's "satanic" form is so cool and happy, but it's "christan" form is so freaky and dark and totally wicked! XD Perfect, like pancakes or rotting biscuts.

I told you he's a genius! This is what musical genius's do! They LOVE to psychologically screw with people, find out hwo they work, what makes them tick, then begin pressing thier buttons. That's what Danny boy does. He just happens to know how to push all the right buttons in a VERY tasteful fashion. ;D

does anybody know how to play this on synthsizer

Insanity isn't anti-Christian, it's against televangelists and the religious right.

I hope you all have the cajones to stand by that statement when you realize that a renowned Christian band beat them to the punch :) :) :) :) :) :) (Do a youtube search for petra - the rock block). Oingo Boingo is one of my favorite bands, by the way, but Danny, you were a johnny-come-lately on this one.

I actually had to record this on cassette tape, then cut the tape and wind it backwards to get the message. It took a lot of work and patience, but it was worth it. Thanks for posting the lyrics as play forward (backwards). The cool thing is that played normal, the backwards words sound like chants that just go along with the music.
awesome! i've been waiting for someone to put both forwards and backwards up! thanx! i love how the poked fun at all the hype in the 80's over "satanic subliminal messages" or any subliminal messages really. such musical genius!

From Wikipedia:
The track "Cry of the Vatos" contains a secret message, recorded backwards. During the early 1980's, there was a religious fear of hidden Satanic messages in rock 'n roll music. The backwards recorded message in this track is an intentional parody, with a pro-Christian message.
