James Blake's take on "Limit to Your Love" is a quiet one. He does the Feist song a lot of quiet justice on this cover; filling it with nothing but hard-hitting piano chords and whispering electronics.

It's a stunning buildup to what could be a fantastic album.

What do you think of this track? Love it? Hate it? Why? Is the original version better?

8/10

  • UK is the forge of music.

  • I'm relieved James Blake finally got a review by you, although you missed out on the three(!) EP's he made in 2010. Other artist that i thought should also be reviewed in 2010, weren't (i.e. Mount Kimbie with Crooks&Lovers and Shackleton with Fabric55). I don't know why because these three artists - especially Mount Kimbie - have made the most soulful electronic music that I have heard in ages.

  • @KojoMan87 I JUST THOUGHT THE SAME: EVEN IF I M FROM BEERLIN THOUGH**

  • Turn on the bright lights! Yay!

  • Stopped after 30 seconds, but still - give me back my time!

  • I've caught onto the James Blake 'hype' pretty late, but I'm bumming his songs at the minute :L Good old Latitude festival!

  • @ITsHxCTOASTER call it future garage if you want but it most definately exists as a new sub genre, nobody has come like jamews blake/mount kimbie before. Maybe witht the slight exception of burial.

  • @ohmysausages It really doesn't man. This kind of of dubstep sound was around before the more modern "grimy" wobbly bass kind of dubstep.

  • @ITsHxCTOASTER It most certinly does.

  • Hey man would ye check my mix out of this track and give us a Little feed back? It's limit to your love 'the story mix' thanks bro keep up the good work!

  • @ohmysausages post-dubstep does not exist.

  • @richiedollabillz it's post-dubsteo for me.
