Rick Rypien - Yellow Brick Road

Here's a tribute video I made in memory of Rick Rypien. To be honest, I had a tough time making this video, but it was something that I wanted to do.

Lets not just remember him as a great fighter; he was that. But he was a hockey player first, and he shared the same dream as every other hockey player; to one day play in the NHL. Rick defied the odds and made his dreams come true.

Unfortunately he was battling something much bigger than Hal Gill. Something that most of us, I hope will never understand. He may have lost the battle to depression, but never forget the courage that he played with on the ice.

He was a warrior, and he will be missed.
