This film remains my favorite made-for-TV movie from my Jung adult-hood. How do I rate thee? Let me count the ways:
1. A great story (by Lane Slate) and a great cast (see, below), handed to a great director (John Badham) who not only knew what he had, but was willing and able to make the whole production work on a small budget.
2. Cast: the youngsters: Alan Alda, Louise Lasser. If you ever doubted Ms. Lasser's abilities as an actress...
