Well, there are TWO hoaxes here : I just became aware of Sarah Palin's pregnancy hoax, and Barack Obama was most likely not born in the US. McCain was very low in the polls, because of his unwavering commitment to full scale war with Iran and many other countries. He ( or rather, the Zionist Jews in charge ) needed a game changer, to attract women voters because Hillary was snubbed with the nomination. The GOP got a huge convention bounce, and was on track to win the nomination.
