This is footage from the making of one of the songs off of the new Solillaquists of Sound album, "As if We Existed". DiViNCi explains how he turns a snare sample into a "Guitar" sound and plays the take that actually gets used on the final version of the song, "Berlin". Well then you have your answer to your original question.. I'm not a guitarist, I'm an MPCist.. I also have a natural drive to want to push the MPC to do things that it wasn't intended to do. I'm not trying to debate which is harder I'm just trying to take my field of focus and stretch it as far as I can and make good music in the process..

@Givarius haha calm down 1st of all. I'm not sure exactly what you are trying to say in your comment because of how you worded your sentences. But I will say that MPCist is a term to describe what one does with an MPC in a live context. Turntablists freak turntables in a different way than typical DJs do. Same principle. Why all the hostility towards something so sound?
