I have to check this show out. I read PAinted Ladies by Parker and I am a new fan of Spencer.

Coming from Boston, this was the theme song and show of any based in Boston. It was well ahead of its time.
The funny part of the intro; they made sure that Boston quirks were put into the show. However, a manual train annoucement that can be heard and without Boston accent was a little sketchy. At least they had the Braintree/Davis rollsign.

I lived in Cambridge in late 70s and rode the T a lot, and remember watching the pilot and loving the intro and remembering riding the T and the old Park Street station. And this was a terrific show..Avery Brooks was fantastic as Hawk!
