Mystic artes are used after obtaining the skill "special" and equipping it on one of your characters, to use it you activate OL level 3+, use an arcane arte, and hold down the attack button not the arte button, otherwise you do burst artes.

this has to be the demo version, No way rita has tital wave at Emied Hill or however it's spelled this early in the game. Unless you like beat the game and you had enough grade to keep your artes for the second cycle
