my bad, it does appear that you are correct. i take it back. i might have jumped the gun w/the accusation as a result of my strong distaste for replicas.

this 250 is suspect - it has the caseback and serial from the 196 (OP 6595 vs OP 6769 for the 250's) without the pre-vendome "OP" logo, the word "Automatic" should be as nearly as wide as the "Firenze", does not have the quick release for the straps (screw on like the 196), why is this?

@chino1127 Tell that to my dealer. The watch was purchased at an AD. Of course this watch does not have the quick release... as you can see from the back it is an I series, from 2006. Quick release did not come until the L series. Different case numbers have been found on different years of the same models before. Maybe your 250 is the one that is suspect?
