any black person with any knowledge about our hair knows that this whole process is not good for our type of hair why would you wash your hair blow dry(heat) it, flat iron(more heat), then rewash the hair that you just washed, blow dried, & flat ironed then turn around & do it again???? All she doing is damaging her hair with all that heat

@osibodu123 & @ayemzparker theres no such thing as african american hair, because if there was than we all would have the same hair texture and hair type, But there is a such thing as MIX hair, KINKY hair, naturally straight hair and so on but if you want me to go into it even more i would, for example there are different types of KINKY hair ( coarse and thick, thin, fine and so on) so African American is not a hair type lol and yes i knew what she meant, i was just making a point=-)

I don't think I will try this method. I use a light shampoo or natural conditioner then use coconut oil and blow dry when I want a straight look. I put on cotton gloves as I blow dry because the oil gets hot.
