The Mossad is the national intelligence agency of Israel. "Mossad" is the Hebrew word for institute or institution.

The Mossad is responsible for intelligence collection, and covert operations including paramilitary activities. It is one of the main entities in the Israeli Intelligence Community, along with Aman (military intelligence) and Shin Bet (internal security), but its director reports directly to the Prime Minister. Its role and function is similar to that of the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Secret Intelligence Service (MI6).

The Red Brigades (Brigate Rosse in Italian, often abbreviated as the BR) were a Marxist-Leninist-inspired terrorist group located in Italy and active, mainly via political assassinations and bank robberies, during the "Years of Lead."

Formed in 1970, the Red Brigades sought to create a revolutionary state through armed struggle and to separate Italy from the Western alliance (NATO). In 1978, the second groups of the BR, headed by Mario Moretti, kidnapped the former Christian Democrat Prime Minister Aldo Moro and murdered him 54 days later. The BR barely survived the end of the Cold War following a split in 1984 and the arrest or flight of the majority of its members. In the 1980s, the group was broken up by Italian investigators, with the aid of several leaders under arrest who assisted the authorities in capturing the other members. A majority of such leaders took advantage of a law that gave credits for renouncing the doctrine (pentito status) and contributing to the capture of members on the loose.

The Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) is a political and paramilitary organization founded in 1964. It is recognized as the "sole legitimate representative of the Palestinian people," by over 100 states with which it holds diplomatic relations, and has enjoyed observer status at the United Nations since 1974. In 1993 Israel also officially recognized the PLO as the representative of the Palestinian people.

The KGB was the national security agency of the USSR. From 1954 until 1991, the Committee for State Security was the Communist state's premier secret police, internal security, and espionage organization, whose coat of arms—the Shield and the Sword—illustrate a national military hierarchy.

Seymour (Sy) Myron Hersh (born April 8, 1937) is a United States Pulitzer Prize winning investigative journalist and author based in Washington, D.C. He is a regular contributor to The New Yorker magazine on military and security matters.

His work first gained worldwide recognition in 1969 for exposing the My Lai Massacre and its cover-up during the Vietnam War, for which he received the 1970 Pulitzer Prize for International Reporting. His 2004 reports on the US military's mistreatment of detainees at Abu Ghraib prison gained much attention.

Hersh received the 2004 George Polk Award for Magazine Reporting given annually by Long Island University to honor contributions to journalistic integrity and investigative reporting. This was his fifth George Polk Award, the first one being a Special Award given to him in 1969.

In 2006 he reported on the US military's plans for Iran, which allegedly called for the use of nuclear weapons against that country. In 2008 he reported on US covert action plans against Iran.

The CIA has funded, trained, armed, deal with, paid, befriended, demonized, justifyed terrorism through their entire existance since the 1940's ... I guess it makes them a terrorist organization by affiliation!

The CIA needs to be closed for the sake of the people of the world ... how many thousands more innocent civilans have to be murdered at the hands of our secret govt?

It's time for the govt to start respecting sovereign govts and the people of the USA and world!
