this song reminds me of the day my da was first inturned in the kesh i nor my family have lost the yearning to walk the free sreets of belfast to call ireland our land never forget that the root of a republican or nationalist no british rule in anyway shape or form im proud to call myself an irish man im proud of my irish roots and heritage and im proud of my homeland ireland

"Our own democracy" is the LAST thing the Irish should want. Independence from Britain is fine - but don't replace it with a democracy, which is nothing less than a tyranny of the majority. A true democracy is where the minority has no protection from the oppression of the majority. Better to have a republic than a democracy, where the inalienable rights of both the majority AND minority are protected.

It is available on CD, but I don't know where you'd get it. SinnFein released it but it isn't in their online shop anymore. I can't remember where I got mine but it is an original. Search Ebay. Failing that transfer the LP to your PC.
