@infinitumpatata Uh ive had a samsung ever since i was born. 1996 an older SD 37in tv then in 2006 my mom got us a 50in plasma and ive never had one problem with either.

I had the 26" series 4 TV a couple of years ago. Can't remember the exact model number of it, but it was 50hz as well - plain old HD ready - but I later found out YOU CAN play 1080p, the only difference is that it runs at 24hz. Yeah it's a slower rate, but unless you are watching a fast action packed blu-ray, you don't notice it at all. Even when there's some action going on at 1080p, it's no where near as bad as older Plasma tv's.

@iExtraCTionzZ HD ready means not a full HD which means less then 1080P,and full Hd means 1080p :) .

@BEscorcio you say its a HD ready imputs up to 1080i and outputs 720p?
i have the same tv and it doesen't say 720p anywhere on the box or in the instruction manual. are you sure its 720?

Just wondering if anyone can help. What level surround sound does this t.v perform at since I want to get some 7.1 surround sound headphones?
10,000 COMPLAINTS about samsung tvs on the consumer affairs site.
Less than 900 complaints for any other brand tv.
Doesn't this tell you something ?
