Your video sold me on this exact model, i ordered it last week from steve, i can't wait for it to get here.
How do you store when it's not being played so there is no chance of the wood warping in anyway ? Do you have a special case for it ?, or just keep it in a climate controlled enviorment ?

@messyroompro thats just a guess tho
-
@messyroompro i'm assuming its tuned to the scale. so that every note you hit is going to sound good with every other note pretty much....
or its chromatic (which i doubt) and he is just playing the notes in the key of A pentatonic minor
-
how do you determine the scale?

I love odd and strange instruments... this is just awesome
and on top of that it looks simple and easy to make

Thanks, I would agree with all your comments except the simple and easy to make.
If you want wood vibrating at exact frequencies, and the tongues flexing at perfect anti-nodal points, it starts getting a little complicated. They are alive in the sense they change with climate, altitude, temperature. The grow in really wonderous ways that give them the vibrant, alive quality that is unique to the wood tongue drum.
