  • The second one(Suvitunnelma-Summer sentiment) is composed by Viljami Niittykoski from Kaustinen. He was contemporary with Konsta Jylhä.

  • Maria Kalaniemi has played this one in 90's and even later on. Please look at this link and its "associated" videos

  • @TheBoza1234 Greetings from Tampere, Finland, Eu: first one is "Polka of (girl named) Elli". Second one is "Summer feelings"

Helena (ancient greek name)-> Elin (scandinavian form) or Elina (finnish form) -> Elli (kind of nickname)

  • name of the songs ?

  • Sure nice to here good old Finnish Music, being of Finnish heritage. Don't here enough of it.

  • @peteliuz79 Yeah, this is very nice. This is one part of "Finnishness" that I can be happy about. (Too bad it's rather stagnant, but that's another story.) I saw this yesterday live in Järvenpää, where there was a dance revolution event, with dancers from a number of different local dance schools / activity groups present. I was there also, dancing Israeli folk dances (and also some dances from Yugoslavia, France, even Japan) with a small group led by dance teacher Jouni Pajunen.

  • yay finland!!! Suomi!!!!

  • can someone teach these dances to me

  • It looks great. It's a shame that young people "can't" like these dances. Nobody will believe them if they do.

I myself think it's beautiful. A hundred times better then the so called dancing you see in clubs these days.
