Can't Have You-(A Jonas Brothers Love Story) Chapter 30 *story in descrip. box*

"Hello everyone, well, 3 weeks ago I started to have symptoms. Everyone told me. They said that I was drinking a lot of water, going to the bathroom a lot, not eating much, loosing weight, and being quite grouchy. At the end of that week one night I was feeling very weak, and I fainted. When I woke up, Nick told me I had been diagnosed with Type 1 Diabetes." I told everyone. For a second they were silent, but then they started cheering. That brought a smile to my face. It had been easier than I thought! Suddenly Nick raised his hand.

Nick-How many of you here have Diabetes? Raise your hands.

I rose mine and saw many of the audience members do the same. Wow. Nick was a big inspiration to them. That was the sweetest thing ever. All those kids rose their hands with pride and smiles on their faces. And now I was an inspiration too. That made me feel so good to think that I can help these kids. Some of them were probably 7 years old or so, and teenagers too. Some kids there were in wheelchairs but yet they seemed to feel inspired by Nick, even though they had a different disease. You just can't let it slow you down.

Nick-Okay, you can put them down. And let me just tell you something. Whether you have diabetes, or any other type of disease. You can't let it slow you down. You have to find something that will help you manage it, like Sarah and I have our OmiPods, and keep moving on. No matter what. And don't let any one tell you that you can't follow your dreams because of the disease. You can. Just because you have a disease doesn't mean you can't be a musician, rock star, actor, actress, scientist, whatever you want to be. You can do it if you try. It might be a little harder, but you can still do it.

"And another thing that you need, which all of you probably have is someone who will go through it with you. Someone that will come to be with you on your bad days, and in case of diabetes, your "low" days, and try to make you smile, or laugh. A true friend. Because they really help you feel good about yourself. They make you feel special and not alone. that's what makes a difference. Know ing that there is someone who cares." I said. Nick wrapped his arm around me smiling.

Nick-Yes, just like we do for each other. Of course everyone comes in and helps, but there is always one person that just seems to help the most. To me that's Sarah.

He was kept on smiling the whole time, I smiled also and said. "The same thing with me." I told Nick. The audience clapped and cheered some more.

Nick-Well yesterday, we were both having a "low" day, and we wrote this awesome song. We want to share it with you guys. I'm going to play the guitar and sing, and Sarah's going to play the piano and sing.

We played the song, and after everyone suddenly exploded screaming. They loved it! Awesome! After we talked to all the kids and took pics with them and stuff, which made me really happy, they all looked very inspired, Hanna came up to me with the others.

Hanna-I recorded it all! Great job! Those kids sure look happier! You guys are so sweet. But anyways, now we can send it to David and the girls, and our parents!

Wait, my parents! I forgot about telling them! My heart started beating faster. What if they over react? Oh, no! "Um, okay." I said nervously.

Kevin-Sarah, it's okay. Your parents know you are in the best conditions with us.

"Right." I said feeling better.

Kasey-You guys made me wanna cry!

Brooke-Yeah! Very inspirational!

Joe-You guys rock, you know that right?!

He gave us a thumbs up with a really big smile. I giggled.

Kevin-Wait, everyone, group hug!

We all squeezed each other and at the same time screamed "Much better!"

Kevin-Hey, I'm the only one who's suppose to say that!

"Okay Jason!" we all replied and laughed.

Later we sent the video to them and waited for there response while we played Rock Band with Frankie. Frankie, Nick, and Kevin were playing when my phone rang. "Hello?" I responded.
