  • @Broadway2014 - I beg to differ. Schubert is very little about technique and all about expression, phrasing, making beautiful music, and in that regard it's very subtle and difficult, requiring the highest degree of musicianship. Sergio and William did a pretty good job with it as a flute-piano piece, but it doesn't sound to me like they knew the lieder on which the theme is based well enough to get deep into what Schubert has to offer here. See Fritz Wunderlich's vid for an idea.

  • I see that he has done very well. I played this myself and did brilliantly. It is not too complicated, it's all about technique.

    Brilliant composition and performance; I hope Sergio comes to London someday.
