Uh no. This doesn't even come close to real stereo. Only with a time machine back to the days before the 2 track masters were erased could anyone hope to obtain true stereo.
I guess nothing is hurt, but why do so many put the energy into trying to alter mono masters that can never and will never yield stereo information? I guess it is fun but why post
'true stereo' when it a lie, this song can never can be true stereo and it will never be?
Not quite as impressed with this as I was with your stereo Love Me Do but I applaude your efforts. This ended up sounding a lot like the fake U.S. version minus the reverb. Basically, the lows removed on the right channel and bumped up on the left. Keep going though.
It's 1964, and this is my favorite song! Weird things are happening to my body. I don't pull pig tails anymore, because they don't wear them anymore, and I'm busy calling those SAME girls on the phone! What a time! Never be another! Thanks for TCB!
Boy oh boy...thos one is amazing. Still not sure I believe what I'm hearing. From what I have been told, the actual stereo mix was lost or destroyed. This sounds like an amazing, painstaking effort to equalize/filter/compress/whatever and lift certain parts. Love to know how this was done.
Bitch, Bitch, Bitch... that's all these critics can do... you have done a better job at a stereo version than anyone else... period. Never have heard of the boys at EMI or Sir George Martin attempting this. Granted, it isn't perfect, but the Beatles music was never perfect. Like leather, it has it's flaws, but they are hard to quickly find and when shown, give character to the recording. Totally enjoyable...BRAVO !!!
@victorwasright you can get the isolated backing track (and the yeah yeah yeahs) without the german vocals on the "rarities" (discontinued) LP.
in fact, some people use the english take and that backing track to create some stereo mixes.
they fit perfectly as if the german version backing track was just a different mix of the same backing track of the english version, I'm really not sure if they recorded another take or if they used the same backing track.

I love this song. Sounds real '60-ish. And that's kinda a good thing.
