I like how u decide to not assimilate...i think it's important to embrace your culture and know your roots in order to know your future...it was hard in my family growing up cuz my dad lived in poverty in the PI and came here for the reason of making a better life for my family so he always tried to "Americanize" us growing up but my mom kept the culture and values instilled in us. Now that i'm in college, im constantly trying to rediscover my roots & embrace my culture as a Pilipina-American

i absolutely hate fil- am people or pure pinoy in US,who dont even know how to speak our native language na. they keep on slanging aahahahahaha.. and they come back as if they are acting like a shit americanized people trying hard to be an american! xt!

@jokway Do you think that Most of the Filipinos are Spanish or mostly asian like Malay,Indo,Chinese etc.and other raises?

@grudger62896 Hmm, well if it's between those two choices, I have to go with the reported research, which states that very few are of Spanish descent.
