  • @jokway Do you think that Most of the Filipinos are Spanish or mostly asian like Malay,Indo,Chinese etc.and other raises?

  • @grudger62896 Hmm, well if it's between those two choices, I have to go with the reported research, which states that very few are of Spanish descent.

  • Nice video, very informative for someone like me who's never lived or set foot in the US.

Jokway, it's a good thing you that balance in your videos. Did you grow up here in the Philippines?

  • nope, grew up in New York :) thanks for your compliment

  • What about the life of a Fil-Bri, which stands for Filipino-British?

"Even thought I was born in this country (Britain) I never forgot were my family really came from."

  • it'd be cool if you could make THAT video. sounds interesting.

  • wow...your parents raised you very well...

  • I like how u decide to not assimilate...i think it's important to embrace your culture and know your roots in order to know your future...it was hard in my family growing up cuz my dad lived in poverty in the PI and came here for the reason of making a better life for my family so he always tried to "Americanize" us growing up but my mom kept the culture and values instilled in us. Now that i'm in college, im constantly trying to rediscover my roots & embrace my culture as a Pilipina-American
