Liberia doesn't need to have a large population to consume all she produces. If that was the case, than there'll be no need for export which is suppose to built our foreign reserves. Luxembourg of Europe is a perfect example. It has a populaion of only 500,000 with no natural resources but a GDP of US$40+billion dollars. How much of this does Luxembourg consumes? @makkool I agree, but whoe's fault is it? if the so called AA's has put Liberia first, we wont have had to go through this. Liberia is not Nigeria nor South Africa so we can't compare. @marck224 Marck you do not seem to be educated about how an economy develops.You have to have a skilled educated workforce to justify industrialization Liberia is 20 years way off from that.Even Ghana cannot justify a mineral processing infrastructure because it does not have a domestic consumption base.Only Nigeria and South Africa have the size and economy to do this.Liberia would need rich immigrant and highly skilled people by the millions to draw investment

@makkool Liberia doesn't have to. The country GDP is what matters. Dubai population is 2.2million with no natural resources except the 4billion barrels of oil. Today, people are magriting from all over the would to go and live there becuase of the money that Emerit is swiming in. Liberia has 3.5million population. A number can't be placed on our natural resources. From gold, diamonds, copper cobalt, maganese, busite, timber, rubber, to areable land, for oil palm, cocoa, coffee, etc THAN OIL!!!

@marck224 Actually There are many Liberians in the USA bonding with the AA community,living in our cities,going to our colleges and joining our churches.They get it.The only people capable of helping Liberia are AA's.Liberians are building bridges and now competing with South Africa and Ghana as the number one country of bond for AA's.Now it is South Africa because it is modern and developed.People who like Liberia are the most sincere because Liberia has so little to offer and it is risky.
