@michael3343 Stock, I wouldn't advise over 9V as its only rated for 5V with the 4 alkaline cells. When I'm done I'll be running a 2s LiPo, though.

hehe dude i saw your post on the RCGroups forum. I got this boat at toysrus for $29 and I currently use it as a rescue boat when I run my brushless boat at the lake. I will be modifying mine too by adding a water cooled ESC and a brushed motor. I will get a brushless one if its not too expensive. This thing will fly in Lipos dude. Keep posting pictures on the forum when u finish upgrading the donziiiiiiii. can't wait to see the finished product!!!
