  • hi the eu is so great be a green modern powerful force a democratic green force for all love this fr johnnyb.

  • Why let a dumb population vote for somethign they don't understand, I mean really? Same for British government. Dont be such a hypocrite

  • u could say the same about the states then and also about provinces if voting is undemocratic then WHAT IS?

  • undemocratic advancements

  • Save Europe´s endangered DEMOCRACIES from the EU monolithic monster !

Sign the PETITION for a Europe-wide REFERENDUM at : X09 "dot" de !

It´s not YET too late !

  • Its undemocratic for one country voting no and thus blocking all advancements.

  • why don't they spend like 3% of each nation on defence that would equate to $580 billion. then 3% on renewable energy. that should be the minimum - unless we will just have this imaginary group of countries which do nothing but add more taxes.

  • They can't call it more democratic when only one country got to vote on it, and then voted no.

  • There are very significant commitments under Defence and Security (in the Treaty on EU), including a commitment by member states to "progressively improve their military capabilities"; some 180 billion is spent on defence annually by member states: this money could be better spent combating climate change through investing in renewable energy etc.

An increasingly obfuscatory and undemocratic EU with military capability: No Thanks!

    Non. Níl. Nein. NO.

  • This treaty will further enhance the power of institutions in Brussels without extending democratic authority to people. In Ireland, their Yes politicians have made statements who support this treaty with some of the greatest apathetic distortions people could ever have made. Ireland is a progressive forward thinking dynamic state unlike the past and will not lose its future saying No to a greatly confusing flawed document its politicians HAVENT EVEN read yet sell as a good thing to its people.
