@marinahenkel Si, fue ejecutado después de un juicio muy irregular y claramente contaminado por el entonces reciente atentado de ETA que costó la vida al almirante Carrero Blanco (Dic 1973). No pocos vieron en esta sentencia de muerte un golpe de fuerza del moribundo régimen franquista. Nunca se pudo probar que el anarquista Puig Antich fuese el autor de la muerte del policía y de hecho su família lleva años intentado reabrir el caso para esclarecer la verdad y restablecer su nombre. Saludos.

@Pertix64 Es cierto y verdad que fué ejecutado el TERRORISTA Salvador Puig Antich,que habia asesinado a algun Policia Armada ( Policia Nacional),pocos meses antes de su ejecución.

It may seem incredible today,but just one month before the 1974 ESC,the Spanish fascist government had wildly executed a very young anarquist(Salvador Puig Antich)and faced protests and demonstrations all over Europe against it.I was only 10 then,but I remember the anger that this happy song provoked inside Spain because it was seen as a way to give a proud and official musical answer to all the protests. Peret´s rumba mentioned the "joy of living" representing a country ruled by a dictator.
