@SuperSpencercat Actually. It is all stored energy from the sun. Archeological finds usually trump development with exception to oil/gas and mining which trumps everything.

One oil spill and all your fishing and tourism will be gone, and even if you work at one of these full time jobs you will watch your town wither around you. He's not lying - look up how many spills Embridge has had in the past 10 years - and how poorly they cleaned them up, even going so far as to hide some of the oil instead of properly clean it.

"these projects are dinosaurs". Indeed, they are. Where does oil come from? (hint: dinosaurs) I recently saw a news clip about a fairly large fossil of a dinosaur found when digging up a portion of the Tar Sands. Perhaps Archaeologists could get on board, and halt the mining due to fossils being found??
