And why would a silicone implant be DESIGNED to melt? I see failure in your logic. Also.. 1980 was a long time ago. There have been advancements in implants, and by the way milk and the sun cause cancer too, yet this woman who had the terribly made old implants had them for 30 years and has not gotten cancer from either them, the sun, or milk. @avor Silicone implants have a typical service life of 10-20 years... what goes in eventually has to be replaced. 30 years is a bit too long to wait for a follow-up
