Police Surround the Churchill Block

Neepawa RCMP have cordoned off a home at Third Avenue and Hwy. 16 in the middle of Neepawa. Early Saturday morning the RCMP and an ambulance crew was called to the residence. By mid-day Saturday the whole yard, back alley and part of Third Avenue was closed of with barricades and police tape. Area residents have reported that a loud party was taking place in the area in the early hours of Saturday morning. RCMP have made an arrest in connection with the death of 23 year Brent Michael David Bialkoski of Neepawa, Manitoba.

After an extensive investigation, RCMP have arrested 21 year old Robert Patrick Ray Morand of Neepawa. He has been charged with second degree murder, and remains in police custody.

There are no other suspects being sought in connection with this incident.

More charges are anticipated, and the investigation is continuing.
