  • Donde esta tu mano inquierda?

  • @jorgevalencia97 holding the camera

  • what program did you use to do this? TELL ME

  • @ihavetoshutthewindow I wrote code for the arduino to read the paper and send serial commands to the computer, where I had a visual basic program that I also wrote to receive the commands and move the mouse cursor. I don't bother sharing my source code with people because it's incomplete and will only work with my touchpad due to the extreme variations in graphite coverage.

  • @ihavetoshutthewindow Wow, ok I just realized how much that sounds like I actually DID fake this, like so many people have claimed. So here's my arduino code, for you and anyone else who reads this: w w w .4shared.com/document/FeGxzpOT/Paper_Touchpad_Arduino_Code.html

  • @googlen0 The paper, no. But the graphite that I covered it with gives me a few hundred kilohms across the paper to work with as a rough two dimensional potentiometer.

  • That's the devil's work there

  • hey man., can i barrow your paper.., i just want 2 make a airplain

  • @gadgetboy1234 you don't need one. the resistance of the graphite makes it different from most capacitive touchscreens

  • @Terrormink haha, i did the same thing and figured someone else thought of it before me. it's surprisingly easy! except i first did a 6x6 grid of tin foil strips and used a fuckton of wires, and there was too much interference to get good readings.

  • Молодец!

  • To all: Read up graphite conductivity and the patent for "x-y position indicator for a display system". Nerd alert though: requires a bit of programming/electronics knowledge.

  • iPaper

  • @Terrormink Tell me one thing. how did you do it without a dialectric?
