Thanks Priyantha, I think Jothi's melodious voice to this old Hindi track goes very well and I could not say any better. In fact Jothi does well as this track is male/female one.

Great Work Vidhura, as you have accurately worded, samanmal piyalle is another finest hit by Jothi who gasped all the nuances of Karu's lyrics and let them cascade with his cuckoo-voice. I think this is not a movie song but it remains ever popular.. ! No other words comes to the mind except WONDERFUL ! Thank you so much! :)

I also feel Jothi should have sung a duet either with Latha or Anjalin like Rafi & Mangeshkar did for 'Taj mahal'. Despite the absence of a female voice Jothi performs to the hilt as usual.
