The Constitutional Limits on our Government gave us the personal freedom to progress, our mind, our wealth, our property, etc. We can amend the Constitution.

Our forefathers intentionally wrote the Constitution loosely, knowing full well that our society would change and thus progress over time.

The Constitution is not a document to simply be taken literally (if it was, there would be no need for a federal court system). Its genius, strength, and longevity lie in its very ability to adapt to ever-changing circumstances.

People's minds will progress no matter what type of government they have. It is impossible to fully prevent it.

Our forefathers intentionally wrote the Constitution to limit the powers of the Federal Government, so the States would ratify the Constitution and create the Union. A Federation of States ,equal to the federal government, ceding defined authority through separation of powers to the Fed. Any authority not designated is reserved to the States, or to the People. We didn't Nationalize, we Federalize. We have fifty Nation-States with a com pact with each other.
