  • I'm so glad this book was written, as someone who wants to be a doctor I feel that people should learn more about how doctors come to the conclusions they do.

  • How Doctors Think gave me in depth tools to advocate on behalf of my daughter who was given a year to live and is now 4 years old! We forget that doctors are also people influenced by everything the rest of the population is influenced by and biases created by. This book gave me the tools to be able to direct my daughter's care, research and present information in a manner that made doctors take notice and act. Dr. Groopman is nothing less than courageous!
