I took a class in 1970-1973 at Gonzaga University in which this song was featured as a good anti-war song and a slam on President Johnson for getting us mired in Vietnam. JFK tried to get us out, but the CIA killed him for it. I'm sure no one missed that.

Please post the anti-war song from the Smothers Brothers Show - "I'm Just An Orphan Of World War Two." That song is hard to find and awesome.
