Thanks for clarifying that, I wondered. I have a crash-tested harness but one dog can get one leg out of it. And he chewed the piece at the chest that crosses the strap and hold them together. Of course anything that slows the dog down is better than nothing but I wish we had more crash-tested options.

Note that these harnesses are NOT crash-tested, just stress/stretch-tested (a "durability test" Bergan calls it). The "V9DT" site shows photos of said test. Note that "V9DT" is not a standard - it is Bergan themselves. Their name is all over the V9DT site. There are a few brands of dog safety harnesses that have indeed been crash-tested, however. Stay safe!

This is the first harness that my min pin has not been able to get out of in the car. This is a great product...I have a harness for both my small dog and my large dog! : )
