  • i think you ignore what is a bayan, no link with the diatonic accordion fibarran...

  • You´re right, I forgot the correct name is "chromatic". It resulted from my ignorance as I´m only an accordion 'aficionado', and also because I recently have seen some videos of diatonic accordions (norteños, Tex-Mex, Colombian cumbia, Vasque: Kepa Junkera and concertina). I ignore if a Bandoneon is diatonic and also if there are two types of chromatic accordions: non-diatonic and diatonic.I only tried to help. I´ll try to be better informed next time I do a comment. Thank you.)

  • Answering your question: This is a diatonic accordion (it sounds different notes when you push or pull the bellows). It is also called Bayan in Rusia and other central europe countries (former Yugoslavia, Poland and other). It is effectively connected to MIDI.

  • you don't belive it, but the most difficult part of it is what he plays with his little finger of the right hand.

  • Замечательно играет!!! Впервые вижу настоящий 4-рядный баян!

  • Listen to Victor Romankov's interpretation...

  • so far the best Libertango on youtube.

  • As to my opinion, the best rendition of Libertango available on YouTube. Think the more straight performances like this one, without too much improvisation and changes in tempo, come much closer to the original spirit of the piece. Its like Bach stepping through the dusty streets of Buenos Aires.

    Respects to A. Barberena!

  • Excelente interpretación!

  • From MEXICO and is the "Sensei" of many of the members of the glorious "Trova del Colegio Tepeyac" Long live to Toño!

  • Hey.... Bond Girls play this on their album !! That's where I know it from, but this version is much better..

  • he is from mexico city, and proudly, one of my friends for some years ago.
