One of the most popular things to do in Fairbanks is take a cruise on the Chena River aboard the Riverboat Discovery 3. One of the highest rated attractions of any kind in the country, it's been owned and operated by generations of the Binkley Family. On the tour you see great river scenes, a float plane take off and landing, Susan Butcher family sled dogs and a recreation of a Native Alaskan Village.

It definitely is. We knew it was highly recommended, but weren't sure of what to expect until we actually did it.
I'm just finishing the editing of stills for one of those do-it-yourself books, and then I'll move on to editing my hi-def video for YouTube (really glad to see you filmed in HD). If interested, look for it in a couple of months.

@DocXmas Thanks for the kind words. It is one of the great trips to take in Alaska. It was raining off an on so they decided to move things on to the boat from the village although we did get off later.

This is the best Discovery III video I've found here. We took the trip on June 27 this year. It is indeed a super attraction. One question--how come the presentation on pelts was done on board--was it raining? We got that presentation in the village.
