  • Oprah was such a touching story and I was so impressed by Mr. Tillman and his wife, their appreciation for and recognition of the gift that they received was very moving. And I know that it was such a sad day for another family. You never think about how difficult it is for a family to lose a young child, and this mother was very brave to make a positive decision in the time of such grief.

I have signed my organ donation card - it's the best thing I can think of to do after we are gone.

  • I have just watched you and your family on the Oprah show today in New Zealand and found your story so beautiful. I am a recipient of a liver transplant. Not a day goes by without of thinking of my donor family. God bless your family and the donor family too. Have a wonderful life with your family.

  • THANKYOU THANKYOU THANKYOU!!!!!!! I lost my 18 y/o daughter to a car accident on 12/28/05. I made the decision to donate any tissue or organs that would help others, I was what she would have wanted. She helped 47 people and 2 men can see today because i made that decison on the worst day of my life. My daughter, Melissa lives on. Thankyou for making the decision to accept donor tissue and THANKYOU for using your good fortune in football to help get this important word out. THANKYOU

  • Bless you for using your resources and name recognition to promote organ donation. Almost 15 years ago my daughter (19) had a double lung transplant after her lungs failed due to cystic fibrosis. Kate is now 34 and lives a full life because, in their extreme sorrow, a 13year old child's parents gave her (and others) the gift of life.. Soon my third child, who also has cf, will need a double lung transplant. We pray that God will keep both our daughters healthy.

  • Hi Mr. Tillman, I am sorry to say I am not a football fan and didnt even know who you were when I clicked the video. But I wish more ppl spoke out about organ donation and how important it is. I have a 3 yr old child that would have died without a kidney transplant..We were blessed and had a living NONfamily donor give her kidney..Please keep speaking out about this...and thank you from the bottom of my heart for sharing your story!!!!~Melissa
