i know about that disorder and noticed everything you said,i know this kid has autism,i only say he doesnt look like he is autistic coz he can follow instructions,i have an 8 year old autistyic son too who loves to bang on anything with a stick,,im trying to teach him how to do drum beats with improvise can containers but he cant follow instruction compare to this autistic kid in the video...my son is on therapy and has big improvement since...
This child obviously has severe autism. If you know anything about the neurological disorder you'd notice he seems to be having some motor reflex difficulties, hence why he's constantly pausing to try to match the beats.
As regards to the noises he is making, autistic children typically do that because, depending on the degree of autism, they can't formulate the words they wish to express, so they squeak or hum.
Also notice his constant twitch where he grabs his head, very common amongst autisim
your son doesnt look llike he has severe autism,he can follow instructions and commands which is a sign of responsivenes, but i see he is not that verbal,is he having a speech therapy?
thanks and have a great weekend...
