Zappa knew what he was doing he just made it sound like he didnt, he wrote every screwey note out

@gwamba I dont know but if you listen to the stuff he composes on the sinclavair and plays with the band it sounds absolutely.... well like a frank zappa song usually sounds.....amazing and he wrote out the notes for all the instruments and some of those solos just sound totally bonkers like his fingers just fell off the neck, i love it

@psichomiko your probably right, but stuff like uncle meat, waka jawaka, some things just feel ad libed, i have some songs live on vid, and some of them he plays very different solos on the same songs....FRANK IS A MYSTERY!
