This song doesn't come from Italy or Greece, it comes from Brazil and it was composed by Roberto Carlos, one of the most important singers-songwriters of that country. So it's a brazilian song and after it became a huge hit in Brazil, it was covered by many artists from Latin America, Europe etc. in a variety of languages.
